Seymour & Hau Got it Covered
Click on the pic to purchase the book.
Color, a fun-looking green creature, and a sense of adventure is all it took. I purchased the book, The Adventures of Seymour &Hau, largely by judging its cover. And then I opened up the book and . . .

I found the book to be a great way to introduce kids to different regions of the world, a gateway to further studies. Or just a fun read with kid-style humor, which I giggled at from time to time.

Seymour is an eleven year old who has two younger siblings and enjoys street hockey, soccer and bass guitar. He secretly teleports with his secret and stinky alien friend, Hau. The green creature cannot return to his planet until he has learned some life lessons. So, the duo travel via Hau’s TELLUS machine to different destinations to help children in need.

This particular episode takes place in Marrakech, Morocco, where Taymir and his family run a tourist business. However, a few of their camels have disappeared. Seymour and Hau meet up with Taymir and together, they’re off on an adventure to solve the mystery and find the camels.

Would I purchase another book in this series? Absolutely. I’d like to see more & how!

Authors Melanie Morse & Thomas McDade will have their next book out summer 2015. Destination Galway!
